- Edward Birbara27.12.2017★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Whilst the refurbishment is a blessing, unfortunately there are still issues with the rooms. The decor is lovely and the large lounge chairs in the suites are superb.
But the old acoustics remain. We as in my wife and I could hear everything in the room above including walking and talking. Not to mention the pipes in the amenities. That brings me onto the toilet in our room. A very tall person could not use it as their knees would hit the wall in front of them! Did the Hydro management not think of this? Also, no tissue box in the room. Such a simple thing yet missing.
It is quite expensive and frankly not worth the money. We would definitely not stay here again or recommend it. Three stars are given because of the lovely ambience. However, they have seriously overlooked some finer points in the upgrade of rooms.
